Hi,
I have a discrepancy. Can anyone tell me if the following quote is from the April 1, 1947 Watchtower magazine, or the July 1, 1947 magazine, p. 204?:
'to get one's name written in that book of life will depend upon one's works'
David Reed, in his book on WT errors has it down for both. One is correct, one's not. Hopefully, someone with a CD ROM or an old magazine from 1947 can verify it for me firsthand.
Thanks. It'll really help me.

Hi,
I just put a new mp3 audio on my site by Bill & Laura Althaus. It's from 1996 at the Witnesses Now For Jesus Convention in Pennsylvania. You can hear it at: http://www.towertotruth.net/audio.htm
It's near the bottom section of the testimonies. Here's their caption:
Growing up fearing God as a child and later being disfellowshipped, Bill & Laura began deeply researching the Society and came to realize that it wasn’t Jehovah God they were coming against, but a man-made organization. They both came to experience God’s unconditional love and salvation through Jesus Christ .

Hi Everyone,
I enjoyed reading all your posts. They were very insightful and encouraging. I would like to address a thought from Gumby:
'The real question is......did people after him begin to make up stories about a man who didn't fullfill the role of their awaited messiah who was killed and didn't change things for them as they hoped he would?'
The simple answer is this. If the early Christians began to make up stories about Jesus and promulgated false teachings to the world, why would they subject themselves to brutal torture and death for a lie. Anyone in their right mind, even a liar, wouldn't die for it. Surely, one of the 12 would have broken down amidst torture and told the truth. None did.
Thanks again for reading my article.
Hey DJ. We'll keep praying for your Mom. Seems like you're right. You have a pre-apostate on your hands!

It got a lot of action from it on my 24 hour phone recorded message. A few yelled at me too. No hard feelings here.

i have been attending a church in our area for about 2 years now - i really like it.
they are looking at ideas for outreach ministry and i think i'm going to approach the pastor about offering a support group for x-jw and mormons (or even those that are still in but want to come....heck....guess i could let them in .
so my question for ya'll is - what type of support group would you feel most comfortable in?
Hello Dawn,
Go to www.jwinfoline.com The husband & wife who run this ministry have been running a support group for ex-JWs for 12+ years. They are experts at it and would love to help you. Tell them I sent you.

i have 2 new audios on my site that you can listen to.
one is from the mullins family who all left the borg together.
the daughter shares a nailbiting testimony of how her jw husband cheated on her, abused her and then abused her daughter and threatened to kill them.
Hi Everyone,
I have 2 new audios on my site that you can listen to. One is from the Mullins family who all left the borg together. The daughter shares a nailbiting testimony of how her JW husband cheated on her, abused her and then abused her daughter and threatened to kill them. Most of this happened while he remained in good standing at the Hall. (Sound familiar?)
The 2nd one is a fired up testimony from Traci Sonney. She went from the Kingdom Hall to skid row and mental institutions, but finally found forgiveness and a new beginning.
I promise you'll like them. Money back guarantee! Here's the link: http://www.towertotruth.net/audio.htm
